For the first half of my life I focused on building my leadership skills as project manager, urban
planner and researcher in the field of economic development, education, health and youth
development. After founding and co-founding award winning youth development organizations
and transitioning out with skilled young people directing the organizations; I began a
consulting business to support progressive leadership in particular young leaders. I embrace
values driven community development locally, nationally and internationally. I am an early
adapter of technology, information, science, and cultural shifts. I think there is always room to
expand communications. I am creative and relentless, and relentlessly creative. I am
passionate about fundraising, budgets, numbers, planning, logic models and expressive arts. I
make hard decisions humanely and model the practice of conscious leadership. I work hard to
create a safe and nurturing environment for my team/colleagues, catalyzing inspiration and
effectiveness. I am always learning. This year, I am learning how to speak Spanish - small
steps.
