Since 1997, Eleanor A. Smith & Associates has helped nonprofits and foundations raise more
than $24 million in foundation, corporate, and government grants and individual gifts. She has
led clients in outcomes-oriented strategic planning, program development and evaluation and
recently began offering training and coaching on the development of program- and client-level

reviewed grant proposals each quarter, oversaw a multi-site evaluation, and recommended
$15M in grants to dozens of Bay Area nonprofits.
